IEMQG General Meeting
November 4, 2017

The meeting was called to order at 2:05 by President Laura Greene. “Five Questions” was won by Marsha Shuh.
Committees:
Treasurer: Gayle Bennet reported the balance in the checking account—we are in much better financial shape than this time last year. She also has the new membership forms for 2018 available at the membership table.
Membership: We have five new members who joined today.
Programs: The end-of-year Holiday Meeting will be held at the Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park from 2 -4. Members will potluck a baked potato bar and desserts. Bring 3 fat quarters (modern) for games; meet early to help set up.
Nominations: Tricia Williams presented the slate of officers: Laura Greene, President; Gayle Bennett, Treasurer; Candace Kimball, Secretary; VP Programs, Cat Wallace; VP Communications, Jennifer Adams. Jessica Cook moved to accept the slate; second by Candy Scott; approved by unanimous consent.
Today’s program was four presentations made by Gayle Bennett (walking foot quilting); Tricia Williams (QuiltCut); Laura Greene (wonky flying geese); and Jessica Cook (free motion quilting). Members circulated among the stations.
After the presentation, membership held the name badge raffle, won by Jessica Cook. The bundle of fat quarters was won by Candy Scott. Rachel showed many of the items donated to Disabled Veterans. Several members showed their work in Show and Share. Raffle winners for charity donations were Debbie Lepper and Gayle Bennett.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:45.
