Just a friendly reminder that the Upcycling Event is right around the corner – Saturday, October 6th at Mountain Shadows! We’ve attached a flyer below for you to share with your friends and family. Feel free to print a copy and post at any community boards to help spread the word! We look forward to seeing everyone there.
As a reminder this is our ONLY fundraiser this year and the proceeds will help us provide wonderful programs for our guild next year. Please take time to see how you can help – we can use any surplus fabric (please mark yardage), supplies, tools, books, etc. In addition, we will have a bake sale during the event and selling any tasty goodies you’d like to bring in support of our fundraising efforts! Cookies, cake and brownies (please cut so they are ready to serve) or other tasty snack items. 
We wanted to thank everyone that signed-up for a spot to help with our event. We are close, but could still use a couple extra folks to help with set-up at 9 a.m. and clean-up at 4 p.m.. In the event you’d be able to support us – email us here to sign up!
Also, as mentioned at our last general meeting, the MQG website is new and improved! As a result of the changes you’ll need to re-register again for access. The website can be found here and in the event you have any questions, please feel free to contact us for assistance. The MQG website is a wonderful resource for videos, tutorials, patterns and the latest networking tool ‘Circles’ which we’ve set-up for our guild.
