Stories of Mistake Purchases……

Our May 1st meeting will have a presentation by members discussing “Mistake Purchases.” What disastrous tool or quilting supply have you purchased that really didn’t work properly? Do you have a tool or quilting item that doesn’t do what it was designed to do? How could you possibly let it in your house?! Most importantly how can we avoid making the same mistake?
Maybe one of your tools needs tweaking to work correctly. Maybe you never use something that you spent money on. Maybe the time you invested in a pattern, book, class or material was a waste of time.

Help us by explaining what NOT TO BUY OR TRY. Snap a picture and email it to the guild at iemodernquiltguild@gmail.com. Be sure to give it a title and/or short description. We will give you time to tell us all about how it was a mistake to purchase it. We can’t wait to hear about it at our June meeting!
