Although there is nothing special this week, we have some big events on the horizon so get out your calendars.
May 20th Meeting
- Remember that our May meeting has been moved to May 20th.
- Our own Kim Wingert is going to speak to us about the history of quilting. You won’t want to miss this.
- The President’s challenge “Words” is due that day. I’m always fascinated to see how people translate the challenge differently.
- To go along with our theme of “words”, the prize for the May raffle is this darling fabric. Isn’t that color pallet perfect for the flowery spring we’re enjoying? Bring your dollars and join the fun.
- As always, bring your show and tell, block of the month and some pocket money for the donation table.
June 3rd Meeting
- Latifah Saafir is going to be speaking to us! If you aren’t yet familiar with her work you can click here to read a little about her or here to see some of her amazing quilts. The name of her presentation is “Being True To Your Inner Artist”. Members of the guild are free with a fee of $5.00 for guests.
- We will be raffling off some beautiful fabrics and we will begin a 3 month raffle for some big ticket items as well. More on that later.
